Now Available - Kentico Consulting Services and Express Remote Assistance

Kentico today announced two new service offerings in what is becoming a very well rounded enterprise offering - Consulting Services and Express Remote Assistance.

The two new offerings create a win-win situation for everyone involved.

Clients can now rest assured that behind each Kentico solution partner is a software manufacturer who can be called upon if needed to assist with both emergency response and complex solutions architecture.

Partners can feel better knowing that in any situation where things get a little hairy for whatever reason experts are on-hand.

Kentico can be confident that all partners have access to any extra assistance they require in preparing quality solutions that add to the Kentico good name.

The services could be seen to be highly priced at $200/hr, but they are priced this way for a reason.

Petr explains - "The service is provided by a very limited number of our consultants with expert knowledge of Kentico CMS so we will not be able to offer it in a larger scale and we want to offer it only for complex projects that couldn't be done without such help."

Both Petr and Lenka are careful to point out that the pricing helps ensure that Kentico do not undersell or compete with their partners.

Consulting Services

The new Consulting Services have been introduced due to a high volume of complex questions asked of Kentico regarding architecture, performance optimization, integration and deep customizations of the CMS.

Questions of this type extend well beyond standard technical support drawing heavily upon limited support resources, and as Kentico gains a larger share of Enterprise projects the volume of this type of question looks set to increase.

By providing access to highly qualified individuals who know the CMS inside out Kentico hope to answer this need.

Consulting services will be offered both on-site and off-site as required.

Express Remote Assistance

Where Consulting Services are typically employed at the beginning of a project, Express Remote Assistance comes into it's own during a site-development and becomes invaluable when supporting live sites.

Express Remote Assistance involves a Kentico support engineer connecting remotely to a development machine (using the GoToMeeting service) or to a live web site, and assisting in the diagnosis and resolution of issues within your own environment.

This speeds up the resolution of issues, and eliminate both the need to describe in depth the details of a specific problem, and the need to send in a backup of your project.
