Who wouldn't want to say that they produced one of the years hottest websites? And let's face it, that's what's really on the line in the inaugural Kentico Site of the Year awards.
The prizes certainly make the title more appealing, but at the end of the day we all seek a little recognition for what we do, and what better way than to have your peers put your work up on a pedestal and announce it the best of the year.
And here we are, two months and 128 submissions after the initial call for entries, in the final days of the competition.
Voting has been opened to the public, and in just two weeks the votes will be tallied, a winner will be chosen for each category, and an overall Site of the Year will be announced.
Get behind your favourites. This is the So You Think You Can Dance of the Kentico World. If you don't vote it's going to come down to luck (or to who has the most relatives). Every vote does count.
More importantly though, browse the finalists. Check these sites out. They've already made the finals and shown themselves to be worthy of note.
We'll be profiling each of the finalists in the next issue of Kentico Developer, introducing the teams behind the scenes, and talking up the little things and the attention to detail that make each great.
We're holding off the release of the next issue so that we can write up each of the winners, and will be releasing it the day after the final announcement is made.
